Welcome to the Party: Getting Started as a One Party Rental Vendor

If you're reading this, you're either already a One Party Rental vendor or you're thinking about becoming one. Either way, welcome! We wanted to put together a simple guide to what getting started actually looks like, so there are no surprises along the way.
Why vendors join us
One Party Rental was built to help families in the Charleston and tri-county area find and book great local party providers, and to help those providers get found without spending more on ads. If you already have a business, we're not here to replace what you've built. We're simply another place for families to discover you.
A few things vendors tell us they appreciate most:
- Reaching more families without added marketing costs
- Keeping full control of your listings, pricing, and schedule
- Not needing any tech background, just your party expertise
- A flat onboarding fee, plus a small commission per booking
How it works, step by step
- Create your profile. Tell us a bit about your business and what you offer.
- Apply and get approved. We review every vendor to keep the marketplace reliable for families. Independent providers and new businesses are subject to a background check.
- Set your pickup and delivery preferences. You decide how items get to customers.
- Add your listings and availability. More on how to do this well in our next guide.
- Get booked and get paid. Once you're live, customers can find and book you directly.
What we handle on our end
While you focus on what you do best, we take care of marketing to local families, secure payment processing, vendor and customer support, booking reminders, and ongoing platform improvements. We also handle seasonal social media promotion to help spotlight your listings.
If you have questions at any point during onboarding, reach out. We're happy to help you think through your listings or talk through pricing and package ideas.
