Pup Country Candles

At Pup Country Candles we breathe new life into discarded materials by using recycled wax and wicks from events here in Charleston, South Carolina- one of the largest wedding destinations in the world. In teaming up with local vendors, we are able to repurpose these discarded materials, thereby reducing waste in our community. In addition to her love of candle making and reimagining materials, Pup Country Candles founder, Amanda Pena, also boasts a love for dogs and dog training. With a master’s in education and certifications in animal behavior, Pena has been training dogs for over 10 years. As a behavioral consult, Pena has seen firsthand the need for resources and equipment in her community- particularly in a post-pandemic society in which many dogs have gone without the proper socialization needed for a healthy lifestyle. It is our mission to use the proceeds of Pup Country Candles to help families in need by creating sustainably sourced, beautiful, and unique candles.
